ABOUT ANGEL FOOD:
During this time of economic hardship, it is wonderful to be able to buy
quality food monthly at an affordable price. How is this done???
Through ANGEL FOOD MINISTRIES (AFM).

A basic box costs $30.00. Depending on stores checked this box of food
retails from $45 to $85 with the average retail value being around $60.
The average box weighs around 21 lbs. The food is high quality,
name brand foods - never "seconds" or "day old" products.
Each months foodmenu consists of both fresh and frozen items.

A monthly menu is available a full month in advance. There is no limit on
the number of boxes an individual or a family may purchase. AFM also
offers the purchase of one or more "special Units" when buying a regular
box of food. These "specials" are mostly savings on meat boxes.  There
are no applications or qualifications, anyone can participate. Orders and
payments are collected by the "host site" during the first part of each
month.

The closest host site to FBC is at:
My Father's House Church,
1820 Hamner Ave.,
Norco, CA, 92860
(southwest corner of Hamner & 2nd Street,
behind In n Out Burgers, next to the bowling alley).
Contact Site Director is JoAnn Gordon-Culberson (951) 273-9689.
More information including a copy of the month's menu can be found at
www.angelfoodministries.com.

FBC has several members who have or are currently volunteering
during the monthly distribution day as well as several members
who purchase boxes for their own use and/or for donations
to those in need.
This is an outreach ministry by lifting financial strain, connecting in service,
as well as touching others with the compassion of Jesus in very real,
genuine way. The initiators of this ministry,
Rev. Joseph and Linda Wingo
and their sons Wes & Andy of
Emmanuel Praise Church,
a nondenominational church located in Monore, Georgia,
are committed to giving "a hand up and not a hand out"
and to reach out to even more with Jesus' love. Since 1995,
over 8.1 million families have been touched by AFM
 through distributions averaging over
500,000 units per month; is in 34 States;
has more than 4,700 host sites;
and has an army of over 45,000 volunteers
that distribute the food each month.
